I've been studying these things for around 15 years. I'm pretty sure I know the status of the evidence that is out there for these phenomena by now. And that would be very good if not excellent, as can be seen in the present instance. Perhaps after you've studied the subject more yourself without bias you can come back and tell me what you conclude.

This must be how the people studying gravity felt when Einstein came around. You're only 15 years, some of Einstein's antagonists had devoted a lifetime. You offer a weak argument, a non sequitur complete with a gap leap.
15 years? How long does it take to find instructions on how to fake a poltergeist video? 15 minutes maybe. I can't believe you once put 15 years of study up against a guy who took photos of streetlights once the fog lifted, or someone like myself who after a few minutes saw an upside down photo of something you and others claimed was a UFO. Studying paranormal failed you in those instances. I think you may believe you've figured out the paranormal, so why still refer to it as such?
The only other conclusion I can make is that this internet persona of yours might just be an act, which is fine by me. The paranormal paranormalist?

You just don't believe anybody do you? Keeps you from having to actually think. That's the easy way out. But how does it feel to live in a world where everybody is lying all the time?

Okay, I watched the video. It could be a ghost, but it could be a hoax. I believe in haunted places for sure, but I think touring a haunted hospital or hotel for example, and feeling, smelling, hearing things FIRST HAND, would convince me, rather than watching videos of people who may or may not be telling the truth. Not saying MR that it is for sure a hoax, but have you ever witnessed something with your own eyes/ears, and came away believing that you were in the presence of the paranormal?

I can't say I have ever felt myself to be in the presence of the paranormal. Maybe once. One time I was in a paralysis state while in bed yelling at some demon lurking in the corner of my bedroom. When I fully woke up I heard the bushes outside my bedroom window thrashing about. I feel that was the spirit leaving my bedroom. Can't say for sure, but it sure felt real to me.

Before the ad homs begin with some others...
That is where I'd apply Occam's Razor. The bushes thrashing about could have been anything really. Sometimes, we believe what we want to believe, not what we need to believe. But know this, I believe in ghosts. I truly suggest that you schedule a haunted tour (reputable) somewhere near you, and see for yourself first hand, the experience. I have known a few skeptics who have come away from those experiences...believing. I think that if you experienced it for yourself, and compared it to some of the videos that you watch, you too much start seeing the discrepancies with what is being ''reported'' in these videos. I don't beieve that ghosts are a noisy lot, they seem to be like an unrequited love.
Just a suggestion.

Oh don't worry about me. I've studied enough cases of hauntings over the years to know they are quite real. And they do come with noises, often very loud ones like bangs and footsteps and voices in empty rooms. I don't need to go on some ghost tour to know they are real. The evidence as I have said is very good and open to anyone with enough unbiased curiosity to examine it for themselves. And compelling videos like this one just cinches it for me. I am constantly amazed how these things can be, in spite of our not having anything in science to really explain them. That's why I don't totally trust science. It's obviously missing a large part of our reality.

I think it seeps into the topic of consciousness, where that stems from, and so on. Science is venturing into these areas, but perhaps there is no evidence to concretely support subjective experiences. So, it all gets put into the Pandora's box of woo.

Non sequiturs aside, I don't care what you believe as long as you keep it to yourself. This is something I've always promoted. I don't broadcast my beliefs to the world. It's a very simple formula and I don't waste time arguing about something I have no concrete evidence for. I avoid the word 'belief' as much as possible in my posts. That said....
I figure somewhere along the line, belief for you changed to fact. So I think that now you know you're spouting fact. What was the clincher, what made you take the leap from faith? Is it safe to say you no longer believe ghosts exist because it is a known fact they do? If you do know then what is the true purpose of the videos? Are they just more proof for the world to see ghosts/UFO's/paranormal exists? I'm thinking that's probably it.

Bullshit you don't. You post all sorts of bizarre beliefs about invisible strings and reversed videos and "rectangles of light" and upside down photos all in the pathetic attempt to debunk the paranormal. And none of it you have concrete evidence for. You just make shit up and that's supposed to be taken as fact. You're the most dogmatic person I know, always voicing your belief that the paranormal is all a hoax. And for the record, I'm not about to keep evidence for the paranormal to myself. This is the Weird forum afterall and I've been posting here long before you came along. If you don't like it then move on. Noone's making you read my threads.
