Quote:Another video of that same kitchen, on that channel, has the guy videoing nothing in the corner just to turn to find chairs supposedly stacked by a ghost...of course, he was videoing nothing long enough for someone to come in and stack the chairs.
Apparently he walks around his house with a turned on camera ready to film anything that happens. Ofcourse the turned on camera will be filming nothing some of the time.

What I really liked about the placemats all moving in a different direction at once was the fact that the mat on the left either required an extra pull of the string or Polty wasn’t satisfied missing on first attempt to remove it from table that it came back for a second try. Amazing, all that chaos happening all around and the remaining placemats were not even touched. Did you notice Polty first had to move the chairs before yanking the string...I mean sliding mats off.

Yeah, all those strings nobody can see that are being pulled in opposite directions and often at the same time from where walls and cabinets and curtained windows are. That makes a lot of sense..

Sorry MR but there are numerous tutorials out there that explain how poltergeist videos are made and how strings are carefully edited out using computer. You should know this.

I thought the same thing. A poltergeist should have blasted energy at the whole table top, moving everything equally. I mean, it's not like they still have hands. And like you said earlier, even if they do, where did they get the third hand?

LOL! Oh..so now the strings are "edited out"? Still doesn't explain them being pulled with tremendous force from where a wall and cabinets and curtained windows are, often at the same time. Did they edit out all the string pullers too?

Polty is rough as Hell with everything else but takes the time to gently slide mats off table, how nice.

I only have one question for you. Could I simulate the placemats moving off the table simultaneously in 3 different directions by using strings and other hardware?

Ever heard of a pulley? Wait, you might not be up on the technology of Archimedes.
I guess you've never pulled more than one thing with one hand either, huh?

That's a good point above, MR, that Syne made. I believe you've mentioned that you're an atheist, but believe in the paranormal. It takes open mindedness to believe in things that have no way of being proven through scientific methods. Controlled settings. I believe in God, but I also believe that there are unexplained happenings, that perhaps when all else fails, those happenings could have a paranormal explanation. But, I wouldn't make the immediate leap to disbelief or belief, straight away. I think it takes exploration before proving or disproving. Many of the videos unfortunately, with regards to UFO sightings and ghostly encounters, are hoaxes. Or, created by people who wish to gain their 15 minutes of fame, and perhaps fortune. I'm not nearly as cynical as some, but we should be careful to not make leaps in either direction, so that we don't fall into confirmation bias, if nothing else.
