I just watched one about the first manned faster than light spacecraft test. The pilot dies (or maybe not), and is rescued (or killed) by aliens (or by God). I liked it, good effects and that old style sense of science fiction 'secrets of the universe' wonder that drew me to the art form when I was a kid. Only about 15 minutes long.

Watch those* all the time. There's so many. I saw that FTL short and I thought it was aliens.
