Secular spirituality

Quote:Back to the topic - do you (MR) follow any Pagan rituals like for the change of seasons or holidays? I’m a little obsessed with rituals lol Big Grin I find different customs to be interesting.

I do. I occasionally light magick candles when the weather changes, putting me in the mood for magical things happening. I order the candles from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Art-Root-Purifica...J91BZNF2V9

I also play music with Alexa. Celtic music or ambient music or new age piano music or swing jazz.

That sounds great. Visuals are helpful for meditating, and prayer, I've found. I light candles when I meditate/pray at times, and have read different things about Wicca (what you describe reminds me of Wicca traditions) that are interesting to me. Wicca has a bad connotation but it really is about celebrating nature, using some Pagan traditions. I didn't realize it predated some Christian religions.

There are many uses for candles...to focus on one's intent, or to cast spells. (if one believes in spell casting, that is)

On another note, I have a friend who practices different variations of the ''left hand path,'' and he seems pretty grounded and at peace. I've read about the LHP and it basically differs from right hand path because of its adherence to one's own code of ethics, as opposed to followed religious dogma, or a deity.
