God is caused by the curvature of psychometry space

Abstract truth is what people of a religion have when they believe what they have been told.  They don't necessarily look for evidence to support that truth, they don't necessarily question that truth, they just "Believe".

I don't believe in God. I know It exists via proof and evidence.

Quote:Absolute Truth in some sense is something that Science quests for.  Science requires proof to prove truth, this is why certain values/results are seen "Empirical" in Science.

I mention this because in the website linked by the OP, there is the statement "Jesus knew this..."  The problem is that no one alive "Absolutely" knew/knows Jesus*, there are however people of a religious faith that "Believe they (abstractly) know Jesus.

As I understand it, George Hammond is a crackpot. His brain growth deficit theory may not have much evidence backing it but his desire to link science with God may have some merit. That is why I posted it. The curvature of psychometry space is a space that is external to the brain but also part of it. This is how I see it.

George Hammond knew all about the existence of gods, the Goa'uld in particular. (Parasitic gods!)

(This is your God! Kneel before it and let it enter you!)

Protecting Earth from the gods was General Hammond's job. He was the Commander of the Stargate project. He was always sending his SG-1 team through the matter-transmitter portal to battle the alien gods. Sometimes the humans allied with more benevolent alien gods such as the Asgard to battle the malevolent ones. (Just as in ancient times, different races of gods were fighting wars in the heavens.) Daniel Jackson, the project's scientist/linguist/geek, eventually even died and became an Ascended Being.

(I loved that old TV series, a great mixture of hard sci-fi space-opera, alternative 'ancient astronauts' history and speculative theology.)

Be careful how you wield that thing.

Here is a quote from a more reputable source:

As to the first point; George Hammond a physicist (M.S. 1967), has spent 20 years studying Psychometry.  Above all else, we must stress the following point:

........ Hammond was not looking for a scientific proof of God.
........ The discovery was an accident.

Well for years pieces of the cross and of Christ's foreskin have been advertised and sold to believers. So far the wood sold is enough to build a 2nd Noah's Ark and at last report, sales indicate Christ's package rivalled that of a Blue Whale's.  Wink

Love it  Big Grin

It's a MIRACLE!!!. Proof of Christ's existence should be relatively easy. All that's required is for all owners of cross splinters and foreskin shards to submit their divine purchases to a DNA testing lab. No doubt that divine powers would have pulled a trick akin to feeding the 5000 by making the cross and foreskin available to all devotees. The DNA of the tree used to make the cross should be the same for all pieces as well as for the foreskin. So simple but I suspect church officials don't want another Shroud of Turin debacle. Best not to know the truth...wink, wink  Angel

Ostro: I think your life's vocation, that of a Divine Forensicologist, was a wonderful example of choosing poorly. Unless your ambition was to be as busy as the Maytag repairman then I feel you've come to the realization that this field is a wasted endeavour. There just isn't anything to go on. I understand your new approach, do you have a title? What do we call you now? Can we put a scientific name to it? Meta Physicist?

The path chose me, I did not choose it. I'm a victim of a predeterministic chain of events.

The irrevocable fact that God exists is not indelible. Reality exclusively contains itself. This logical negation allows it to generate all and only that which is real. The human brain is capable of generating or causing God to exist. Science is not yet superbly coherent which is why we have not been successful at uniting the various fields. The CTMU is a true tautological TOE that proves panpsychism. It is accessible to a few people and not widely understood. This explains why it has not been accepted by the mainstream. But to some degree it has been, although academia is highly exclusive.

I'm sure you realize that on any other forum you would be highly criticized or destroyed for statements such as this. The lack of citation, evidence, definition, proof etc would probably get you banned/suspended. Picked this word up the other day: Calathumpian. I think it describes the CTMU situation:
Quote:"a term that is used in a non-judgmental way to describe a religion or philosophy in its infancy. The description is of a relatively original belief, held by a small group, personally assembled, or not institutionalized. It can also be sometimes used as a non-specific example of a religious or political persuasion.

Calathumper sounds better than bible thumper I must admit.
