CIA Releases Osama Bin Laden's Files

This looks like a real treasure-trove for scholars of international terrorism. Thousands of files (321 gigabytes!!), from computers seized during the Abbotabad raid on the compound where Pakistan was protecting bin Laden.

They say that they aren't releasing some documents. These include items under copyright: Osama apparently liked to download pirated movies, he had a bunch of them including children's films and (naturally enough) Resident Evil, files containing known malware, blank, corrupted and duplicate files, Osama's pornography collection (who knew?) and files that expose sensitive US or allied operations or methods.

Highlights include Osama's personal diary. (A whopping 118 mb pdf file)

These items can be found here (the CIA warns that these are documents seized from a terrorist organization and some contents won't be suitable for children and they can't guarantee that everything is free of malware):

Unfortunately most of it is in Arabic (which I can't read).

A small amount of it had already been released. Now it looks like the bulk of it is.

Kim Jong-un is into all sorts of Anglo-American entertainment, with personal idols in that regard. Go figure with these guys -- how much do they really believe their propaganda versus utilization of it to stay in power or be a center of influence, protect themselves from internal coups, etc.
