ADDED you ARE aware of entire US towns built in flood plains that will now begin to flood again at an ever increasing rate !

much the same for countrys on the coast lines like vietnam etc which have lots of loose top soil with mountains and have high precipitation.
the increased rainfal over the next few decades which has already started is going to carve out entire towns and change coastal areas where most of their food gathering and houses are situated,
probably get lots of american unexploded bombs washing down in the streams which would be one big reason the usa wont want to have this type of thing in the media.

as for group consensus being your purported value of data sets by observation...
bystander effects  puts that idea straight in the bin, along with things like eyewitness statements(how vastly wrong and innacurate they are in general)

this little saying you mentioned

this is a few decades old and is not related to thevalidation of scientific data surrounded climate change being real or not real.
it specifically refers to the planetary cycles.
though i gues you may not be aware of that.
the scientists who were coining this phrase were refering directly to the newly discovered seasonal cycles in the sun and the long data of gobal seasonality, i.e ice ages.

Beekeepers always have some seasonal die off, and they simply buy more bees. So they have to buy more bees than usual. That doesn't mean that the global bee population is nearing "endangered" levels. Beekeepers losing 50% of their hives is not "50% of global honeybees". Learn to parse simple English.

I remember posting something in an attempt to aid a BBC Scientist/Reporter that had recently been chewed up on US television by Climatology denialist's.

The problem with such denialist's was they tend to suggested that there is no proof that mankind has factored in, in any way in regards to Climate change. My suggestion to him at the time was to look at the overall climate information, especially in regards to both the First and Second World war. Each war saw a massive increase in a number of countries industrial engines as they created munitions, weapons and armour. The wars themselves also created a massive toll in reducing farms and woodlands into raging battle scene, cities could and did burn for days.

There was in fact a markable change in the data in relationship to those time points (at least in regards to to the figures I'd seen at the time) which did indeed look like they collated together to generate "proof". I'm sure denialists however would just suggest it was spin.
