You already said why. To drink and have sex. Like you claimed to see in the cemetery. Or. they could be interested in the paranormal itself. Everyone likes a good scare now and then on a dark night. Except for you ofcourse. I guess you and your buddies hung out there to catch lovers in the act. Good times eh?

I was going to mention it but I didn't want to discourage any prospective ghost hunters from visiting the tunnel. Remember when you go there, be careful not to trip over the beer and liquor bottles. Pay no attention to the used condoms you may find littering the floor.

You must've been one of those bubble kids, still attached to your mother's teat. My childhood friends and I venturing into a cemetery at night is nowhere near as audacious as stating everyone in the world is afraid of ghosts. It's like saying everyone in Transylvania is afraid of Dracula Rolleyes . One of my friends lived next door to the cemetery, he used to tell me his dad loved it because the neighbors were always quiet. We had no reason to be afraid back then, maybe it's different today. Feel a bit sorry for those who feel afraid because  there's no reason to be scared of ghosts despite what you read.

Actually ghosts have been known about and feared in our culture for some time now. In fact they are present in every culture on earth. The earliest eyewitness accounts date back to Roman times. Unless ofcourse you take into account Samuel's ghost in the Bible. But yeah...people have long connected cemeteries and burial grounds to ghosts as well as battlefields and anywhere else there has been death. That's just the way it is. I'm sorry if that upsets you. Just tell yourself they're not real and maybe you'll feel better.

Just to make you happy, once I'm dead I'll come back and haunt your place as a ghost. When your lights start turning on and off then you'll know I've croaked. The spirit world having a little fun at your expense. There you have it, this morning's fresh thought, ghosts just want to have fun.  Wink

Come to think of it. I have some friends who've passed on that can make the haunting of your place one of the most memorable paranormal events in all of history. Don't be afraid, it will be unbelievably hilarious. So funny that you'll probably become famous for hosting a new reality program. Be prepared, it's time to revolutionize haunting, make it a fun event. Time to remove ghost stereotyping. Are you ready for it?

Dont you get tired of the same old ghostly routines. You know it is time to reinvent the ghost. Much maligned ghosts, innocent victims of public perception, having to bear the weight of years of skepticism and fuzzy images. Typecast into the role of malevolent evil, begging for the chance to break the stereotype forged over the centuries of human existence.. Irrational fear of a natural yet beautiful phenomenon, blindly leading the multitude of faithful believers on a course towards post life imaginations. Is there any other entity, real or imagined, so badly understood?

I propose that all people pledge to become ghosts after life has ended. Let's make it fun for all. Let's bring back those organisms that have gone extinct too, not only for the knowledge that could be gained but for the sake of historical accuracy. Ghosts could benefit mankind no end. Think of all the dangerous jobs normally allotted humans that they could perform, crimes they could solve, not to mention the unleashing of such a marketing scheme the world has never seen before. The potential for the good of humanity is enormous. First life, first multicellular life, plants , dinosaurs , etc. it's all there.

I'm in.

Sounds like a good personal project. Get started on it and let me know in a few years how it's going.

You'll know when I pay you a visit, that is if I go first. Otherwise I'll see you in the hereafter and if you want to join then by all mean you're welcome. Hell, we'll make you an honorary member whether you like it or not. Unfortunately it will take my demise in order to get things properly set up.

I'm going to call the organization CASPER. The Coalition of Apparitions, Spirits and Poltergeists Entertainment Revue. Time to take advantage of visitations from the grave. Like anything else, the old has to go to make room for the new. First thing the coalition has to do is remove time restrictions. Ever notice that there's certain time limits for ghostly visitors? Where are the ghosts of the ancients? Wouldn't you love to go to the Roman Coliseum for instance and watch gladiatorial combat, just remember no one really gets killed, they're already dead. Going to be fun. looking forward to it.

There's no guarantee I'll ever meet you in the afterlife. About 100 billion people have died since the evolution of humans. Do you think we'd actually run into each other? Besides, I am being reserved a whole planet to myself right now dominated by thunderstorms, scantily clad warriors, and cheesecake trees. I'll be too busy to meet with former earthlings.

Kind of makes one wonder why any ghost would want to come back here Smile. Then again, why are we not seeing the ghosts of beings who lived on other planets?
