Omg, I want to cry reading that!! What a magically wonderful day you gave them.

And to think. They really do exist, if we just believe. haha Smile

Nice seeing you, too!

In other news, I just saw that the science forums has been up and running! I was surprised when a random google search brought the site up again.

Noticed your recent return at TSF. Glad you're back Wegsy.
Thank you, I saw you there, too. It's cool that it's back up. But is a ghost operating it?  Blush

IF (DACĂ)

If you could ever measure the immeasurable,
take in the boundlessness
and, walking across nothingness,
be neither one nor the other;

If you could ever be love without loving,
be hope without hoping,
be speech without speaking,
be thought without thinking;

If you could ever hear the unheard,
look into the unseen
and learn the unknown –
would there be a new beginning?

once upon a moonlight sour
just a little past the hour
whence was once a tender thought
benign to fasten slender naught
twice upon a daylight slumber
thrice to ponder much encumber
once upon a moonlight sweet

(a poem about affirming positive thought as your primary thought)

once upon a moonlight sweet
where lesser lights arrange to meet
And all the morning stars sang together
where no man is; no wilderness nor weather
who can stay the bottles of bliss
and transfer its likeness onto the abyss
where 'once upon' was obsolete

(a poem about affirming negative thoughts)   Wink

lol... like

carry much to task unfold
emotion coats in rain so bold
beguil that sets apart from most
be careful not to burn the toast

(a poem about the burdon of being a toaster)

This is a poem I wrote for my high school english class...

Here is the bear that ate the berries
That grow on the mulberry bush that carries
The nest that holds the eggs all white
That was laid by a bird just last nite
That migrated north on July 4th
Which is a day greatly famed
For our independence which was claimed
Which gives men the right to shoot on sight
Which is why I now wear
What was once the bear that ate the berries
That grow on the mulberry bush that carries...

Love it MR. I much prefer the homegrown poetry over the established any day. Your poem reminded of the Peter, Paul and Mary song " Where have all the Flowers Gone" written in the same circular fashion.

The Holiday
by Confused2 (aged about 10)

I once went on a caravan holiday
With all the fun and games and play
But when I got home
I ceased to roam
And sat upon the lavatory.
