once upon a moonlight sour
just a little past the hour
whence was once a tender thought
benign to fasten slender naught
twice upon a daylight slumber
thrice to ponder much encumber
once upon a moonlight sweet
(a poem about affirming positive thought as your primary thought)

once upon a moonlight sweet
where lesser lights arrange to meet
And all the morning stars sang together
where no man is; no wilderness nor weather
who can stay the bottles of bliss
and transfer its likeness onto the abyss
where 'once upon' was obsolete

lol... like
carry much to task unfold
emotion coats in rain so bold
beguil that sets apart from most
be careful not to burn the toast
This is a poem I wrote for my high school english class...
Here is the bear that ate the berries
That grow on the mulberry bush that carries
The nest that holds the eggs all white
That was laid by a bird just last nite
That migrated north on July 4th
Which is a day greatly famed
For our independence which was claimed
Which gives men the right to shoot on sight
Which is why I now wear
What was once the bear that ate the berries
That grow on the mulberry bush that carries...

Love it MR. I much prefer the homegrown poetry over the established any day. Your poem reminded of the Peter, Paul and Mary song " Where have all the Flowers Gone" written in the same circular fashion.
