It's not an approval rating, he's surrounded by sycophants and uses force and intimidation to pressure Russians into complacency.
Since those numbers are backed up by non-government sources, do you have any refuting sources?
You know, beyond your say so.

Quote:Hoping for Putin to die of old age is a very bad strategy for ending a war, while people continue to die every day. Putin can't be pushed back without NATO intervention, but that would give him the excuse to use extreme measures, maybe including nukes.

Just because Putin waves nuke rhetoric doesn't mean he'd use it, and if he did he should know the consequences will outstrip anything he assumes he'd gain by doing it in the first place.  Nukes are zero sum period, not even worth having in your arsenal.
Even if we directly helped Ukraine, that does not make Ukraine immune to tactical nukes, nor provide any guarantee that we'd retaliate in kind, which would definitely kickoff open NATO/Russia warfare.

Why have so many Europeans suddenly become such bloodthirsty war hawks?
Maybe that would change if they had to put some of their own skin in the game.

Our skin has been in the game for decades, it's just the decadent that fell asleep that seem to not be aware of it.

Russia had been pulling on a number of threads to undermine Europe, UK and America for that long. The cold war never technically ended, it just lulled the unaware into that slumber while they crept around plotting their revival. A number of those plots you should of been aware of, but you were fed patsies that were easily lapped up because of what convictions against them. (9/11 was likely one of them)

Every time that Russia thought they were pulling a fast one, we noticed and we took note. American's might have been oblivious though.

Really? Like deployments in Libya and Afghanistan in recent decades? Why not Ukraine?
Europe makes a lot more noises about Russia being a direct threat to Europe.

Really? You think Russia did 9/11? Baseless conspiracy of people with as much PDS as TDS.
Much like you having ZERO sources to refute Putin's approval ratings.

It's a shame. I had hoped you weren't just talking out of your ass on that one.

Hardly baseless. Why do you think the 9/11 attack happened? It was a direct attack on the US economic hegemony. It wasn't originally all that jihading nonsense, that came later to trick people into fighting on bin ladens behalf once he'd hit the US hard.

What did he have to gain from hitting the US? It didn't weaken anything in the middle east, if anything it just caused more issues over there. No it's more likely that a third party in a vested interest at getting back at the western "corruption" used him as a patsy filling him with their intel to get him to commit to an attack to begin with. That third party would of likely been elements of Russia that wanted the glory days back.

You might see it if you got your head out of your ass.

I don't see any evidence or citations there. So your claim of "hardly baseless" still seems to be coming straight from your ass.
"Likely" isn't an actual argument, and the economic impact was short-lived, even with the US economy already in a recession.

But according to you, those Muslims/Arabs are easy to manipulate and don't have their own agency or agenda. Bigoted much?
