All wasted energy, as the months-long campaign prior to this demonstrated. Amazon simply ignored the widespread advocacy for Gero's version. Marginalized politics has colonized the entire genre of science fiction and fantasy. The majority, or the traditional crowd, either has to adapt to the grand annexation or else exit this "safe space" that has been built within the confines of the former habitat.

EXCERPTS: Well, it's day two since we got the worst possible news for Stargate. And it's not that they are never making Stargate again. That would actually be better.

Amazon is dropping Martin Gero's show that was going to be faithful to the original and replacing it with one by the lady who did Agatha All Along in the MCU. And is largely responsible for turning the MCU into the M-SHE-U. You've got to remember she also has writing credits on Captain Marvel. This woman has a track record of taking everything and turning it into Whining TV. And that's exactly what I expect them to do with Stargate, formerly a military science fiction show.

Now, there's a lot of influencers out there who have already gone on and been like, "Hold on, guys. Maybe we should give it a chance. We don't know what this is going to be about." And this line of reasoning drives me crazy. Because I've gotten this before, and I'll tell you about it. It's a gaslighting tactic.

I don't think the influencers who are saying this are doing the gaslighting. I think they've been gaslit so much over the years that they're trying to hold on desperately to the brand they love. And they just don't want to admit the truth. It's like the stages of grief here, and that's what's happening.

So, let's get into what's going on with this and why we should be outraged and why we as fans should do everything we can to be just as vocal about how we hate this. It's okay to hate bad things. This is the thing that they don't like to tell you these days. Because we have to let it be known exactly what Amazon is doing and all these companies are doing to these properties that we love...

[...] We can't pretend like this lady doesn't have a track record. She destroyed the MCU brand for the new "modern audience".

[...] Let's not forget what Amazon does with these productions. We've seen what they did to Wheel of Time, right? Wheel of Time was one of the most atrocious misrepresentations of a story that's ever been made. And Rings of Power joins that club. An absolute skin suit pulled over Tolkein's work. So, what are they doing with Stargate?

They're hiring peak skin suit creators for this new show. They're telling us upfront that the show is not for you and me. So, why should we keep an open mind? Why should we just be like, "Well, we don't know what they're going to make." That doesn't make any sense. You'd have to be a complete idiot or simp to not expect the usual pattern.

[...] The regime openly indicates that it hates traditional fans. They keep going on with this stuff. And that's exactly why we have to fight them even harder. So what do we do as fans? We have to let them know this is not acceptable. This is not what we wanted. This is not Stargate. We want our real Stargate. We don't want this sham.

Unless or until Hollywood, Amazon, etc. go back to a diversity of ideology, they're just going to keep making content for an increasingly smaller, niche audience.
