Quote:Sure, if you think "turn on you" means outright betrayal.

Yep...that's what it means. Which is why you had to backpedal on it after you falsely claimed that's what France did.

"turn on" (specifically "turn on someone") can mean to attack, criticize, or betray someone suddenly.

Key Details

• Meaning: When you "turn on" a person or group, you suddenly switch from being friendly or supportive to opposing, attacking, or being disloyal to them.
• Example: "He was my friend for years, and then he suddenly turned on me and blamed me for his mistakes".

Well, if that's the only thing you think it means. 9_9

"An 8-foot gold-leaf statue of President Donald Trump was unveiled at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France."

Personally (UK speaking) I think it's disgraceful, childish and a lot of other things. The European parliament should be more than just a children's playground - that the statue is there says more about Europe than it does about Trump. Bunch of dickheads?

Turmp will indeed take the immortality, no matter what the context. Everything controversial that he's tried to put his name or image on in the US will be removed when Democrats are back in power. But this "political art" may be resting in the halls of the EP till the next century and beyond.

Hey he's the one who says all publicity is good publicity. Though his downward-spiralling popularity polls seem to refute that.
