VIDEO EXCERPTS: Today I want to talk about the wildfires that we have in Europe. So apparently so far this year, 1,254 fires have been recorded. That's really bad. It's in different countries. Doesn't matter if it's in Spain, Portugal, France, or even in Sardinia and other countries as well. Here you can see a wildfire in Spain totally out of control. Truly dangerous stuff is going on here, and unfortunately a lot of forest is destroyed.
Now the narrative is that people want us to believe that this is because of climate change. I think climate change only plays a minor role in this. Mostly those fires are set by arsonists. Either it's mentally ill people or also very often arsonists who have an economical or political reason for why they are burning down the forest.
So in a lot of these countries here in Europe we have very strict zoning laws, and if there's an area that is zoned as a forest, you cannot cut it down. But sometimes if the forest is getting burned down, the zoning law apparently can change, and then you can maybe build something on this property. So that incentive is part of why a lot of forests are burning.
So here you can see a post of wildfires in France, and there are also 162 arrests being made because of suspected wildfire arson. Here there's another story about Spain. The authorities in Spain say 44 people are wanted for arson. Those 44 people have caused 180,000 residents to be displaced.
Then also really cruel, I found this news from Italy. So apparently some burning rags were tied to the cat's tails. And then of course the cat is running because it's afraid it's running through the forest. And this is how it's igniting the forest. How mentally ill can you be to actually torture animals like this? It's crazy...
