Hey, shit happens. I know a photo or video isn't worth crap but to level the playing field then it's sometimes necessary. I just like creating doubt.
Actually when MR only uses words and doesn't try to back it up with visuals then it's way more convincing. Trouble is.... words aren't proof either.

Looks like a balloon to me..
To be honest that cylinder filmed in Germany might be a balloon. I've seen those long cylindrical balloons before.

Hey MR. To the best of your knowledge and without me resorting to Google, has there ever been a concerted or even funded effort to make a SETI-ish attempt at communicating with UFO's? Why aren't the scientists at SETI focusing on UFOs instead of galaxies light years away?

No government attempt to contact UFOs that they admit of at least. There IS an organization (CSETI) led by Steven Greer that aims at alien contact. Here's some info on that:

Facts are indisputable.
Since we're discussing UFOs then the mere mention of the word 'unidentified' doesn't exactly assure me that the facts are known. Besides didn't you & Syne spend time on this topic recently. I'm not prepared to go on about it. Yes words can communicate known facts.

Still, any ideas on why SETI isn't focused on UFO contact? If contact has already secretly been made with UFOs by gov't then what is SETI's real purpose? Which leads me to this question: why hasn't SETI made contact with UFOs or have they?
