Trump willing to make a deal with anybody about anything if they play nice?

We've seen this before. The regime says they're willing to come to the table to deter the energy and bridges attack for a while, and then it's back to the same old game being reloaded and playing out again for months. Nothing less than actually going through with it, regardless of what they plead at the last minute, might break the pattern. Maybe not end the war, but at least derail this particular cycle of monotonous "round and round the Romper Room" fake talks.

THE RUBIN REPORT
https://youtu.be/X9daDFjA8GY

VIDEO EXCERPTS: From day one, 10 plus years ago when he took office, there was no topic that Donald Trump would have said is off limits. Like: "That's how I'm going to do it, and I'm not going to talk to anybody about it."

You would have had the most amenable Republican president [in terms of making a deal], and you probably still do even now. But you guys just exist to try to take him out.

And in some sense, that's what Iran's doing, too, right? Iran is operating sort of in the same way as the Democrats. I mean, at least Iran shows up to meetings and negotiates and then lies about it. The Democrats don't even show up to meetings.

But whether you're Iran or the Democrats, man, this is as good as it's going to get [a POTUS willing to negotiate if you civilly request it]. ... In terms of being able to work with someone for an honorable deal that everyone could walk away and feel somewhat good at or at least equally bad about, Trump was the guy.

Here is Trump saying what he will do now if this regime -- who he now says he fully does not trust -- does not come around one more time.

Do you anticipate that the strikes seen this week against Iran will expand? Are you considering hitting energy targets or other locations inside?

I'll save the energy targets for last, but ultimately we'll hit energy targets. Yeah. But we're going to hit them very hard tonight. We're going to hit them very hard tomorrow night. We're going to hit them very hard the night after.

And then next week it gets really bad for them because next week come the power plants and the bridges. We're going to knock out all their power plants. We're going to knock out all their bridges unless they get to the table and negotiate.

[...] Now again, is this Trump saying civilization will die tonight, and then they do come to the table, and we get another 20-day memorandum of understanding... So, is he throwing out another one of those? ... He is basically saying it is next week. We're doing it...

This is a waste of time. Utterly insane that they keep endlessly buying it: "Stephen Miller says Iranian officials are 'desperate' to strike a deal with Trump after escalation"

If I remember correctly..??
This started with the US (Trump) using 'negotiation' as a tactic to gain the advantage of surprise .. in an attempt to kill the Iranian leadership. Far from being "the most amenable Republican president" [Rubin] .. as far as the surviving Iranian leaders are concerned he [Trump] is a (partially) failed assassin .. negotiations with a psychopathic president are something of a sick joke. 'Negotiations' make the lunatic feel important and they go along with that to delay the inevitable bombing .. now bridges and power stations .. for as long as possible .. knowing the lunatic really just wants to kill them .. and (understandably) .. they're not going to make that easy.

IOW..Trump is a spineless, bloviating horse's ass that makes threats all the time but can't negotiate worth a crap. Iran figured this out months ago. And they're playing him like a 40 yr old Main street crack whore on a rainy Sunday night. Thank Beelzebub in a year and a half we can get a real president in there who knows how to intelligently negotiate instead of just grunting and thumping his chest.
