As for Trumps assessment that it's in American interest to stop China/Russia. It's complete horse shit, if anything he's using them as an excuse to push a Trumpism (similar to Nazism) agenda. There is many things that can happen if he continues in the direction he's currently heading such as, stopping all trade with the US. (Screw making counter tariffs, blockades will start happening.)
The 2028 Olympics, you can cancel that shit right now, it's not happening. In fact FIFA event this year will likely get dumped on too. Obviously it would require the countries to actually do it now, rather than letting the shit slide and losing it as leverage.

What he's really worried about, it's not Russia and China, it's the fact that the shit he pulls is literally going to drag America to the brink of war and he'll quite happily blame Russians/Chinese/Weak Europeans for having done it, even though it's him doing in.
