As I said, due process is an international human right. That's not leftist. It's just the nature of all democracies and the fair and equitable execution of justice. Trump and Hogsweat are using weasel words to make murder seem justifiable. It is not.

I'm not sure what the rules of engagement actually are but..
There has to be a limit so that
1/Soldiers and sailors can sleep at night knowing they did what had to be done without becoming monsters.
2/Ultimately peace is possible .. given no alternative other than fighting to the last man .. that is what has to happen. There is no way to make peace with monsters.
“Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you.”

Nobody is a criminal until they are arrested, charged, and prosecuted for violating the law. That's a pillar principle of our democracy.

No, actively engaging in criminal activity is literally what makes you a criminal. Even if never caught or tried. Happens all the time.
Conflating the presumption of innocence in a court of law with what actually happens out in the real world is just naive.
LOL! Got under C2's skin.

Nope...you only committed a crime if you are prosecuted of it in court. Criminal is thus a legal definition.
"criminal" (n)
1) "A popular term for anyone who has committed a crime, whether convicted of the offense or not. More properly, it applies only to those actually convicted of a crime. Repeat offenders are sometimes called habitual criminals."

Oh buddy, if only you would/could read your own citation. See the part that says "anyone who has committed a crime, whether convicted of the offense or not"?
That's because it's the commission of a crime that makes you a criminal, not the guilty verdict.
Too bad you didn't read the post you quoted, where I literally told you you were conflating legal guilty with criminal activity. Now you're just desperately digging your stupid little hole deeper.

No dipshit. Here's what it actually said:

Again, you are only continuing to confirm that you're a naive imbecile who is conflating the legal principle of presumption of innocence with the actual reality of committing a crime. And you're cherry picking the part of a legal definition which only applies to the presumption of innocence: https://dictionary.law.com/Default.aspx?selected=402
You're using child reasoning of "you're only guilty if you get caught." Although, I don't doubt that that is your actual immoral stance.
You're a child who doesn't understand the simple difference between the context of law in a courtroom and the real world.
But according to you, Hegseth isn't guilty of any crime, as he hasn't even been charged, much less tried or convicted.
I guess we agree on that.

Yep...you have to be charged with a crime before you can be found guilty of it. It's called due process. Remember?
