VIDEO EXCERPTS: Today I want to bring you the news from Europe once again. And this time I would like to start with the news about cars.

So cars are now more expensive than ever in Europe. Car buyers in Europe are having to spend more and more money on their new vehicles. The reason is unprecedented price increases in just a few years.

But also, the used cars are getting more and more expensive. [...] And the price for smaller and compact cars is rising because people don't have the money anymore to purchase big cars. So now the small car is rising in price as well.

[...] Then also we are seeing an unprecedented price explosion in food. Since 2020 some foods have risen by 68%...

[...] Some politicians had the idea to intervene with the food prices because they are getting out of hand. But then other people are saying that if you intervene with the market, that can actually lead to scarcity and increase the food price even more.

[...] Before we continue this video, I want to let you know that YouTube has shadow-banned my channel. So not all of my videos are sent out to my subscribers, and therefore I have to take up sponsors...

[...] All right, the next news is the USA has put some really drastic tariffs on Switzerland. While the European Union still getting off lightly with a tariff of only 15%, the Swiss are now subject to a whooping 39%.

[...] So Switzerland is getting a little bit nervous because the United States is their most important trading partner. ... They have a crisis meeting and they call for further negotiations with Trump. But still, I have to say that Switzerland is doing really well. They have an unemployment rate of only 2.7%...

[...] We have quite a curious thing going on in Austria. ... around 400 criminals could be released. Wow. Awesome. So you have to understand that in Austria 50, 40, 30 years ago the crime rate was really low. Back then they built prisons just for a low crime rate. But now we have more crime in Austria, and also in other countries. So now they don't know where to put the prisoners.

[...] We don't have enough doctors in Austria...

That's true of anything the government subsidizes or artificially limits. Food, healthcare, education, etc..
