In my experience that's the most common kind of stupidity: People mouthing off too loudly when they know next to nothing about what they are talking about.

The third stupidity is characterized by Nobel Disease, where the expert or genius steps out of their lane, making bad choices because they assume their genius is a universal passport, failing to see that they've walked onto a different playing field with entirely different rules.

This is just a subset of ignorant stupidity. Many people who are experts in one very narrow field seem to think that they must be experts in all fields. And they are often accepted as such by laypeople. But once again it's a matter of mouthing off about things the speaker knows little about. University professors with their PhDs often fall prey to this variety of ignorant stupidity. It does illustrate that stupidity in the broad sense shouldn't be confused with low IQ. It might be something closer to hubris.

Overthinking stupidity illustrates how competent individuals can become less effective precisely because of their advanced cognitive abilities. They overanalyze, searching for the intricate when the simple may suffice....

I don't think that I would call this one 'stupidity'. but it certainly does make people less effective in real life situations than they might otherwise be. So it's a cognitive defect.

I think that we see that one much of the time in politics. Political identity is a major component in personal identity and people seek to strengthen that identity and their sense of self. People repeat political talking-points, not because they believe them necessarily, but because they are the talking points of the group with which they identify.

So people seek out others of their kind who reinforce their identities by saying what they want to hear. The result is life in an echo-chamber. And that in turn tends to exacerbate ignorant stupidity. This might be where the criticism of the internet becomes relevant, since life online makes it much easier to socialize in a community chosen because it agrees with all of your beliefs and prejudices.
