
Nothing really new here, apart from the hit status. Starting more than a year ago (if not longer), YouTube music channels started appearing that were ambiguous about whether their tracks were AI-generated or not. Complete with the artificial images.
But the music industry began incrementally selling its soul to the devil decades ago when it started utilizing things like Auto-Tune and sampling (in earnest). All leading down the road to musicians someday being replaced, as far as studio work goes. Not much loss, perhaps, since current human pop music (lacking the 100% AI label) -- the Top Ten national or world stuff -- has become hopelessly bland and predictable.
