Yep.

LA mayor Karen Bass: "If immigration raids had not happened here we would not have the disorder that went on last night. I will tell you that it is peaceful now but we do not know where and when the next raids will be."

ICE Director Tom Homan: "I've said for months sanctuary cities you don't want to don't want us arrest these bad guys that you just listed them out we could arrest them in safety and security of the county jail but they won't let us into jail. They release him into the community which means we got to send a whole bunch of teams in the community to find this dangerous person that don't want to be found. So sanctuary city is going to get exactly what they don't want more officers in the communities and more officers in work site."

Leftists caused all of this.

What Constitutional violations and federal law violations have the protesters committed? I don't think graffiti and throwing water bottles qualify. lol

Obstructing law enforcement is a crime. Attacking law enforcement (yes, even with water bottles) is a crime. Vandalism, like graffiti, is a crime.

If you don't know this, you're an abject imbecile.

They are all still crimes, even in Oregon and even if your panty-waist state doesn't prosecute them.

Criminal mischief in the 3rd degree is when you interfere or tamper with the property of another with the intent to cause substantial inconvenience to the owner or someone else. This offense is a Class C misdemeanor punishable by up to 30 days in jail and fines reaching $1250. - https://www.myoregondefenselawyer.com/cr...-mischief/

A person commits the crime of interfering with a peace officer or parole and probation officer if the person, knowing that another person is a peace officer or a parole and probation officer as defined in ORS 181A.355 (Definitions for ORS 181A.355 to 181A.689), intentionally or knowingly acts in a manner that prevents, or attempts to prevent, the peace officer or parole and probation officer from performing the lawful duties of the officer with regards to another person or a criminal investigation. - https://oregon.public.law/statutes/ors_162.247

A person commits the crime of assault in the fourth degree if the person:
(a) Intentionally, knowingly or recklessly causes physical injury to another; - https://oregon.public.law/statutes/ors_163.160

And the Supremacy Clause means that Federal government can prosecute them, even if your soft-on-crime pussies won't.

For starters, try these:

8 U.S. Code § 1325 - Improper entry by alien

18 U.S. Code § 111 - Assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers or employees

Meh. Nothing requiring the National Guard and the Marines. The immigrants they're rounding up aren't criminals and are just working peacefully at their jobs and living in houses. This is all just politically motivated hoopla and hype. Mencken got it right: “The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary.”

No, they are looking for criminal illegal aliens, and if they find them in the community, others get caught in the net.

The Insurrection Act of 1807 is the U.S. federal law that empowers the president of the United States to nationally deploy the U.S. military and to federalize the National Guard units of the individual states in specific circumstances, such as the suppression of civil disorder, of insurrection, and of armed rebellion against the federal government of the U.S. - wiki

Newscum and Bass certainly aren't quelling the blatant civil disorder.
But right now he's only utilizing them as support for ICE/ATF/FBI... since people have been obstructing federal law enforcement. Usually, in a functional state, local law enforcement would help in this capacity, but Newscum/Bass have refused... moronically thinking they can gin up a bullshit "tyranny" narrative over the federal government simply enforcing federal immigration law and the president exercising his proper and legitimate constitutional authority.

The political motive and hype is all from the Democrats. They've grandstanded about sanctuary cities/states for years, refused to help federal law enforcement (even sometimes obstructing it themselves), and forced the feds to conduct operations in the communities (instead of complying with illegal alien detainer requests). The Democrat hobgoblin has always been Trump and the Republicans... hence the TDS fearmongering.

None of this LA rioting would be going on if the Feds could simply pick up criminal aliens from local courts and jails, where they wouldn't need all the military-looking gear.

Looking at that Insurrection Act based upon the year (1807) California wasn't a state and was owned by the Viceroyality of New Spain.

If you are going to call an Act from the time period then it should probably be bound by the borders of the time, otherwise it means the law is need of a revamp by being amended to suit the current time and borders.
(The people of that region wouldn't of agreed to that law since they were run as another country, and California was eventually reparation as apart of a settlement after the Mexican-American War of 1846-48).

US laws apply to all current US states. Otherwise the Constitution's Supremacy Clause would be meaningless.

It's also just dumb as fuck to suggest that a single, sovereign nation have a patchwork of laws that only apply to their contemporary borders. Allowing insurrection from later added states is completely ignorant nonsense.
Morons like to suggest the US do things that virtually no country in the world would ever do.
