Ghost captured on home security camera inside home

This is pretty unmistakeable. Certainly not anyone who SHOULD be in that house. And the homeowners report other strange things going on in their home as well. Pretty solid proof of the paranormal I must say! Welcome to your new supernatural universe rookies...Smile

Acting exactly like someone who SHOULDN'T be in the house. I'm not sure why a ghost (former resident or otherwise) would creep like that.

Also, just parsimony... and not being hyperbolic with the word "proof."

Exactly. Hence a ghost. Unless of course it is the ghost of a former resident. Which makes sense that it's the ghost of an old lady creeping around. Really old people tend to creep you know..

Parsimony is only relevant when there is no evidence either way. In this case we have compelling evidence it is a ghost/apparition by its features and the additional phenomena accompanying it over several months such as moving objects, noises, feelings of being watched, and opening doors. IOW all the standard hallmarks of a haunting. Nothing else makes any sense.

No, I've never seen an old person creep, as in sneak around afraid to be caught. Being slow is different from creeping. But again, we all know English doesn't seem to be your forte.

Parsimony is the very basis of science. So if you think science occurs devoid of evidence, you're opinion is just ignorant. We have no compelling evidence of a ghost. We have a video that seems to show a very solid, real person moving exactly as we'd expect an intruder to move. Other random things, arbitrarily assumed to be paranormal, have zero bearing on this example. That's like saying you saw something odd in the sky, so the noises you've heard in your attic must be space aliens stalking you. It's coincidence your motivated reasoning is piecing together. "Hallmarks" are not evidence.

Parsimony is simply postulating the fewest things to explain a phenomenon. We know people, intruders, etc. exist, so no extraneous postulates necessary. Ghosts require us to posit an afterlife or some sort of environmental memory and phenomena that is impervious to scientific investigation. That makes it non-science... or nonsense.

Only when there is no evidence pointing to any explanation. In this case there obviously is as we see on camera a translucent apparition walking from one side of the hall to the other, which is said by one commentator to be a solid wall. You can even see there is no doorway there at time mark 1:44. If it were an intruder, we'd see them breaking into the house and then stealing things. The camera doesn't show this. Also, the apparition is of an old lady in her PJs creeping thru the hall like any old lady would. There is no way this could be a real old lady intruder. That makes no sense whatsoever. And when the homeowner went into that area of the house that night I'm sure she checked around and found no intruder. She most certainly would have found evidence of a break-in later in the morning, but didn't.

So no, no relevance of parsimony here. Just solid evidence of a haunting, which anyone who has ever studied the paranormal knows has these basic repeating hallmarks. You're just too ignorant on this subject to see the pattern. There couldn't be more compelling proof of the paranormal.

I see home security cameras haven’t improved any.

And I see you have no explanation as usual either.

I don't see anything "translucent." I see poor security video quality. "One commentator?" I don't see a solid wall.

So you think ALL intruders must break in and only be interested in stealing? I also can't make out the age of the figure, although a neighbor with dementia, finding themselves in a strange place, might move as apprehensively. And why assume it's a "break in?" Sometimes people forget to lock their doors.

So yes, you have to posit a ton of things with no evidence to make your many, many assumptions.

Au contraire. There are many explanations. Why do you persist when nothing you've ever posted has been proven or anyone else's explanation is even remotely considered. Not worth explaining because I think you're full of $%*@. You're about the phoniest paranormalist I've ever encountered and I say that as a compliment. No one does it better. You're hoaxing is beyond good. The only guy who debunks rational explanations, not one but all. People who believe you don't realize they're being worked or cajoled into coming on board..

Was checking some of the net worth of guest speakers at that desert event coming up and I can see there's big money in paranormal. Do they pay you to bring home the message to all those duped? Royalties, commissions, for your promoting?

Just as I said. Not a thing except a little hissy about what a terrible person I am for posting convincing evidence of things you don't want believe in. Change the subject quick before you actually have to think about what you're seeing here..The UFO convention? Yeah...that'll work! lol!
