Sounds like Poe's Law might be applicable. Or at best, choosing a crazy-acting weirdo to play Biden would only succeed because it might spoof Biden in a completely different manner than spinning-off from aspects of the actual version of him (i.e., extreme effects of senescence).

It's essentially Russian propaganda making its best attempt at trying to be funny. Now if you follow what Russia is doing you might have already seen some of these terrible Russian viral video propaganda advertisements I've actually reacted to.
Like one where a Russian couple is leaving Russia. They're on a plane, they're flying from Russia to America, and on the plane they meet a bunch of caricatures of trans people. And there's a scene where the entire staff and everybody on the plane is forced to kneel in front of a Black guy, because of course you know they're trying to make fun of Woke America.
This show about Biden is essentially what happens when you try to stretch out that kind of propaganda advertising to eight entire episodes. And as a Russian myself who loves reacting to Russian propaganda, I just have to review it.

Joe Biden in this show was played by the Russian actor Dmitri Dyuzhev [he's only 46?], who's actually kind of an old star of Russian TV.
