I bought Jeffery Kripal's and Whitley Streiber's book "The Super Natural" and read it back in 2016. It opened me up to the possibility of paranormal experiences being an emerging new spirituality in our time. In this book I read of the following reported experience by Kripal's colleague. It is to me an extraordinary yet utterly baffling demonstration of the thesis of this book:

"In 'The Super Natural', 2016, Kripal recounts an anecdote by a colleague of his, Dale Allison, who one day washed off the lip of a honey jar and set the jar on a counter to dry, before turning to his cabinet to take out a tin of flour. As Allison was taking the tin from its shelf, he felt it grow heavier in his hands and dropped it in surprise. When the tin hit the floor, its lid came off. Allison saw something inside the container and cleared away the flour to find the honey jar he had just placed on his counter, which – when he looked over – was no longer where he had put it. Allison tells the story himself in Encountering Mystery: Religious Experience in a Secular Age." ---

I will add that Mr. Allison said of this experience later on: "It was then that I knew materialism was wrong."

Some kind of huge plasma being passing thru a line of trees in a field. "Pillar of fire"?

Dog filmed playing with a ghost. There is nothing there initially, then as the dog goes back out into the yard we see a translucent white shape cross the yard and vanish. There is also audio of a high pitched laugh. Watch in full screen to see it better. That the man reacts to it in real time makes it especially convincing..

"so a few days ago my brother Jay de La Rosa was outside with his dogs filming them because they were acting funny. Jumping up and trying to bite something in the air, then out front the right you see this image of a little girl running then after passing the dog she does a ballerina spin then fades away..(if you listen hard enough you can hear a laugh, siminal to nelson from the simpsons as she spins away) the video was longer but i sectioned this part out. Also as odd as it is the audio on his phone seems to have some type of interference and after she fades it cuts back in."

Gullible moron. So this dog is "playing with a ghost" it doesn't react to at all? The only noise sounds like a dog.
The dog is likely jumping at a swarm of gnats, and you can't see them until they're contrasted against the ground.

Imagining you see a little girl is just run of the mill apophenia/pareidolia.
