Since Imane Khelif is from Algeria, she would have been stoned to death or tossed off a tall building a long time ago if she was truly trans or a genetic anomaly. And if alternatively, and speculatively, they were giving her drugs East German style, then that still slots close enough to "male-ing up a female" that it would offend militant Muslim sensibilities.
All those LGBT+ participants supporting Hamas Palestinians on campuses months ago didn't alter the Islamic world; it just means that a certain faction of the regressive left really is naïve or shockingly overprotected from reality with respect to some things and regions of the world.
