I'd never even heard of Philomena Cunk before this. Used to depend on regional PBS stations carrying or favoring particular British sitcoms and parody programming (new or old). That's been sunk for years.

OTOH, I don't follow any North American comedy, either. Go beyond those made after or still having episodes after "Seinfeld", and the only thing I've ever sampled to any extent is "Red Green", "Everybody Loves Raymond", "The Office", "The Middle", and "Modern Family". (And that was due purely to their syndicated life.)

EDIT: Woops. I forgot about "Doc Martin". That is one UK item that PBS featured for a while, besides all the freaking mystery shows. But it's arguably part drama, so it might not have fully qualified, anyway.

And I excluded the FOX adult cartoons, also -- but haven't watched them for quite some time. Any routine gets out after a while -- good thing people keep inventing kids and teens; even the once cutting-edge but now tired stuff is new to them.
