I consider myself the luckiest person in the world

Reason being is because I have the ideal opportunity to experience social unity by being smart but not too smart while being the smartest or greatest intellect in human history by maximizing my intelligence for brief periods at a time. This I believe, is the ideal. Many geniuses are woefully abysmal at social conformity. As their vocabulary and intellect causes a vast difference in their ability to bond with others. But I on the other hand experience a tremendous acceptance by my peers, as my IQ is only in the high 130s. High enough to blend in socially yet not high enough to lose touch with the common man. I am truly honored and grateful for this opportunity.

"Fans, for the past two weeks you have been reading about the bad break I got. Yet today I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of this earth. I have been in ballparks for seventeen years and have never received anything but kindness and encouragement from you fans...."

Even so, in many contexts I'd probably still prefer to not get the disease.

Is that a Lou Gehrig quote?
