Burdened by my genius

The genius returns with a vengeance...

I am contemplating the possibility of writing an autobiography informing the public of my unparalleled genius while using.

There is an increasing desire to become known for my unparalleled genius. As wont for someone of my unique disposition.

I am a towering intellect among many, so it is only natural that I seek like-minded individuals in society rather than exclusively the internet. I must spread my wings.

I am the sole originator of a number of scientific breakthroughs. I inspired a paper by Christopher Langan and many others.

I don't care what Zijanthropos says. I am the greatest genius who ever lived.

There is no one who comes close to my intelligence while on ganj.

An IQ of 137 is nothing to scoff at either.

I read that geniuses like myself see things as similar and only the highest geniuses, again like myself, see things as virtually identical. Hence my dual intelligence.

I appreciate your time.

True genius is humble. It doesn't brag about itself or put on a show. It has the humility of being in awe of all there is to know and understand.

it may be better for it to be a biography based on your autobiography
137 is quite high

are you going to write something for ordinary people to read ?

the duality of perspective sounds a bit weird
"if you see things the same..."

you mean see things similar to those of equally high intellect ?

you may wish to brush up on your english or get someone else to write it for you.

Good catch! But don't forget, the actual physics 'magic' number is ~ 1/137. Does that get us closer to the majesty of true IQ here? I'm not smart enough to know.

You all have failed to grasp the subtleties of my humor.

Although there was no shortage of hubris to my claims about my genius.

I persistently seek every opportunity to demonstrate my intelligence in social situations. This is my natural disposition. I seek validation on a daily basis. I believe it provides optimal benefit to society and inspires my confidence in myself.

I see others as a means to an end.

Purpose defines my existence. I seek every opportunity to shine brightly. Such is the ideal of genius.

Meh. At best (1) and (4) contexts might be "sort of" applicable... perhaps. Possibly a quasi-hovering checkmark at 2. They're not much of a pardoning loophole, though.

(1) 2020s: "Zoomers have no knowledge of the personal intros of some of Isaac Asimov's short story collections, so don't overdo it."

(2) Sciforums (2000s to early 2010s): "I'm a satiric performance artist, but I can't break past the aspie barrier in here."

(3) 1980s: "We were only joking around and being gay, but he died from the laughter."

(4) 1970s: "I was just poking fun at her, but she took me serious."

I find it difficult to communicate with people.
So how do you manage on a day to to day basis?

I agree with MR.

What's more, true genius isn't something you are, it's something you do. Genius isn't a state, it's a performance.

So to be a true genius, you have to accomplish something displaying genius:

Einstein produced his special and general theories of relativity and did historic work in quantum mechanics.

Isaac Newton more or less formalized physics in the scientific revolution and took a big step towards inventing calculus on the side.

Darwin created an explanatory paradigm that makes most biological observations comprehensible. Evolution by natural selection is the basis of most of contemporary biology.

Aristotle more or less created the modern academic subjects (from art theory to metaphysics to ethics to formal logic to the science of biology) and he did extraordinarily fruitful work in most of these subjects that he created. Intellectual life was totally different after he lived, and his influence lives on today. (He's my candidate for greatest genius of recorded history.)

Elon has created a series of companies that are all extraordinarily successful in both financial and engineering terms, turning science-fiction into reality and making himself the world's richest man in the process.

Leonardo di Vinci, Michaelangelo, Beethoven, Bach, the Buddha, Confucius... and many more.

That's what you need, Ostro. Stop empty bragging about yourself and accomplish something that your contemporaries and subsequent generations recognize as works of genius.
