Maybe someone should tap Survival Lilly on the shoulder and point her to:

Which hopefully will lead to things becoming a lot clearer to Survival Lilly as to whom to primarily blame for her and many other (non-French) European's predicament.
As Lenin famously quipped (paraphrased) "To make an omelette, you first have to break some eggs". Poor Lilly - looks to be just another egg in the grand game.
