It likely sold for this amount due to the novelty of the paranormal backstory, but rumors have it that it's just a regular house, and the paranormal investigators were frauds. If you're in the area, check it out yourself...they're opening it up for tours. If you dare.

They should rent it out on a weekly basis. Lot's of fledgling ghost hunters out there trying to wet their beaks.

I thought that, too - they could post the listing on Airbnb, for those looking for ghostly adventures and creepy vacation experiences. That dining room pic looks especially eerie. Just imagining that a place is haunted would make me fear spending the night.
