EXCERPT: Probably they're going to launch one more rocket attack tomorrow on Ukraine. And that one could be the most massive one since the beginning of the war. And they want to shut down Ukraine -- everything, like the electricity. I wonder if my bank card would work, even though I'm far away.

I've been saying for months that while everyone is talking about Russian losses in the war, nobody seemingly wants to talk about Ukrainian losses.

So I've personally been going on the assumption that Ukrainian losses have been roughly equal to Russian losses ever since the Russians switched from their failed attempt at a lightning war to take the whole country in a few days at the very beginning, met effective and determined resistance that they seem to have never expected, and then settled into more of a war of attrition in the east.

Well, some information about Ukrainian military casualties may just have leaked from an unexpected source: Ursula Van der Leyden, the President of the European Commission. She said in a video clip in a tweet (about setting up an international war crimes court) that "more than 100,000 Ukrainian military officers have been killed so far." The tweet was quickly deleted.

Ukrainian President Zelensky's Press Secretary replied by saying "reliable information about casualties should be announced only by the Commander in Chief or the Defense Minister". The Press Secretary said that Zelensky will release that information "when the time is right" because it is "sensitive information". (Which more or less confirms that it is indeed being kept secret.)

Here's the video from the original tweet

Maintaining the illusion of it being something otherwise basically facilitated by the success of the counteroffensive since September 6th. Before then, Ukraine looked enough like a battered victim roiling down the drain that any high figure would be easily accepted.

But the country right now is arguably in the worst shape it has ever been, after the rocket attacks knocking out power, etc. With military progress stalling from seasonal conditions, the comeback underdog illusions are now starting to crack minus a steady supply of those achievements to keep the appearance propped up.

with Orcs lines stretched and unable to properly equip thier front line
it is better to let the Orcs take ground and then hit them with artillery
rather than lose ukrainian lifes slugging it out.
as the Orcs advance over new ground they become even further away and further separated from their supply lines and command and will become easier targets.
let them think they are gaining easy ground then smash them with concentrated fire.

Good news for Ukraine! Brimstones are very good missiles, one of Britain's better high-tech military products.

Are these new build missiles? Probably not, since it would take time to manufacture them. Or are they taken out of existing British RAF inventory? If so, which I think is very likely, what does that do to RAF readiness?

We see the same problem with the GMLRS missiles that are fired by HIMARS. Ukraine is shooting them off faster than the US can manufacture them. So the only way that Ukraine can continue to be supplied is by sending them rockets from US Army supplies.

And it's good to see that Denys is hanging in there and still producing his videos, which I like.

ive not read anything about their stock piles of brimstones
these are the brimstone II they are sending
60cm accuracy over 60 kilometers fired from air
this will give kill ability to ukraine for any Orc forward operating HQ & radar/air defense.

lightning attack , if accompanied before hand by anti radar missiles this could give very good deep strike ability assuming artillery can keep the orc manpads down
though it may be better to hold them for defense in the spring depending on what new Armour the orcs bring in
im just hypothesizing

hopefully the GLSDB will come in as soon as possible
