I liked the movie up until the bomb plot and subsequent explosion. Kind of lost focus at that point. Should watch it again.

Yep, I’m a skeptic but I like the thought of aliens, space travel, many worlds, etc. I can only hope somebody can prove claims real. Not too much of that going on.

Science is about what there is evidence for.

Science also uncovers the evidence. It explores the unknown and discovers new phenomena we didn't know existed before. If it just confined itself to what there is already evidence for it would never make any progress.

Still waiting for the big discovery. Only after that does science actually have anything to study or investigate. Hence the absence of scientific papers on the subject and the most comprehensive government report basically just saying "we still don't know."
