Often a waste of time trying to work out what goes on in Syne's mind.. possibly he thinks  MR's comment .. 'The Arabs evacuated Palestininians to save their lives..' was amusing..
A possible reason for evacuation being.. as already stated..
Israel employed biological warfare against Palestinians by poisoning village wells.
Dozens of massacres targeted Palestinian Arabs,

Propaganda that ignores Hamas' war crimes of using human shields. It serves no other purpose but to villainize Israel and run cover for Hamas.

I see lots of happy children. Proves that you don't need toys to have fun.

In 2007, Israel and Egypt restricted various non-essential and commercial goods entering Gaza, that happened to include toys. In 2010, they changed that to a defined list of controlled security/dual-use items. Then after Oct 7th, Israel once again banned non-essential commercial items, that also just happened to include toys as non-essentials.

Israel has never explicitly banned toys. Just non-essential items.

No need to guess when it's already there in my posts.

Literacy is amazing!

By defining toys as non-essential items, they ARE banning toys. Just another example of Israel's totally inhumane policies towards Gaza.

Hint for the borderline illiterate..
Repeating the same shit too many times becomes tedious.

Toys are inherently non-essential items. You can't define them as "essential" without changing the meaning of the word.

Toys are essential for kids. This is proven by the video showing them making toys out of bomb rubble.

"The concepts of games and toys have a very important role in children’s lives. It contributes to the development of cognitive, motor, psychosocial, emotional, and linguistic skills. It also plays a key role in raising self-confident, creative, and happy children. Therefore, attention should be paid to the concepts of games and toys, which are so important for the child to be a part of society as a healthy individual at every stage of his development. On the other hand, providing playgrounds where children can play comfortably and safely are essential in reducing the risk of accidents related to toys. All health-care components, especially pediatricians and family physicians, should take an active role in ensuring that these play processes, which are the most beautiful parts of childhood, are healthy and safe."--- https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8430366/

essential - something necessary, indispensable, or unavoidable
Quit using words you obviously do not understand. "Important" is not a synonym.

Essential means something is absolutely required or indispensable—you cannot function or succeed without it.
Important means something has great value or significance, but it is not always strictly mandatory.

People have made their own toys for at least 3,000 years before manufactured toys were commercially available. Even as I child, we would make some of our own toys, even when we had plenty of commercial toys. And we would have made more, if not for commercial toys.

The bigger question is how you can look at happy, laughing children and assume they are actively missing toys?

When your whole territory has been reduced to rebar and concrete rubble its kinda hard to make anything. Every civilization on earth is allowed to have toys. Gaza should be no exception.

Except the video you posted showed that the children and adults have made their own toys. 9_9
That power line looked like something I would have loved as a kid. All we had were clotheslines, that we weren't allowed to hang from.
