My nephew's opinion of "The Odyssey." He actually saw it. He's also on the spectrum and so picks up on lots of fine and subtle details.

"The Odyssey is absolutely phenomenal. A showstopping epic that demands to be seen in IMAX. The acting? Masterclass, which is to be expected from its ensemble cast. Matt Damon portrayed Odysseus beautifully, and his co-star Anne Hathaway stole scenes once again, ensuring Oscar noms in their future. In IMAX 70MM, this movie was absolutely massive. There were several scenes that were so pulse pounding, I actually got anxious. With a 2 hour and 52 minute runtime, this movie didn't really feel like it. It was paced wonderfully, balancing action and story perfectly. I wish I could say more, and I probably will in a later post, but holy fucking shit, go see this movie. "

Yes, most people will miss enjoying all the trees because the average audience takes in the gestalt. "on the spectrum" is not a good stand-in for the broader audience.
