Any commentary will tell you "little ones" means those new to the faith, regardless of age... as physical growth is often used as an analogy to spiritual growth (new converts are called spiritual "babies" who need spiritual milk). Again, proving you do not understand the simplest verses in the Bible.
But I wasn't referring to making people mature in their faith stumble. Weaponizing the Bible is not likely to dupe or confuse long-time Christians. But like Mark 9:42 says, it could have an impact on new believers. And I have no doubt that is your intent.
Or at least, I hope you don't really believe long-time Christians would believe any of the partisan and naive crap you spew... or that you have any clue what you're talking about.

Seems like a thing a president might want to do when he knows folks are going to find out he's done something really, really stupid.

That or perhaps his midterm ratings stink. Appealing to the religious seems a rather straight forwards deception to try to create appeasement (just not to any higher power than himself)

Trump has always appealed to Christians. This is nothing new.

No one said Christians like everything about Trump. That is a strawman and false dilemma.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
- 2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV
On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
- Mark 2:17 NIV

Pretty sure they do when all they do is rationalize away every stupid thing he does and says. It calls into question their very moral integrity. Like mothers defending their serial killer sons.

Well, you're a disgruntled former-Christian... so go figure. Like I've said before, you're completely out of touch with Christians, who do not rationalize away everything Trump says. Hell, most the time you don't even understand what Trump says, insisting on the least charitable strawman available.

Nope..20 years as Christian and just holding them to their own espoused principles and beliefs..

Trump said it quite clearly: "They'll let you do anything. You can grab them by the pussy."
