Mrs. C2 has been complaining about ratty noises on the roof.
So I went to see.
And found.
Momma seagull looking very beautiful (and rather fierce).
And two fluffy chicks - cute factor 9.
While we're down here playing scrabble they're up there getting ready to fly.
I don't think it gets much better than that.

Good to hear that the gulls are still around. Whenever you mentioned moving (more inland?) however many years ago, wasn't sure they were going to remain a possibility.

Less than 100 yards. We're on the original beach but they built a sea wall in front of us after a storm flooded the town about 30 years ago. The house shakes when big waves hit the sea wall.
