EXCERPTS: Donald Trump put his relationship with Sir Keir Starmer under strain last night after accusing the 'far-left' Labour Party of 'blatant foreign interference' in the US election.

Lawyers for the Republican presidential candidate have filed a complaint to the Federal Election Commission, accusing Labour of making 'illegal foreign campaign contributions' which was 'accepted' by Kamala Harris's campaign.

The comments come weeks after Mr Trump and Sir Keir held a two-hour dinner in New York, after which the former president said the Prime Minister was 'very popular'.

Mr Trump's camp cited a now-deleted post on LinkedIn by Sofia Patel, Labour's head of operations, which said 100 current and former staffers were going to be volunteering in battleground states such as North Carolina and Nevada.

Rules about foreigners working in US elections are strict and state that they must volunteer and cannot receive any payment.

Trump's 2016 election utilised Cambridge Analytica to manipulate the populous throughout his campaign. Funnily enough Cambridge Analytica Ltd was a British Company. So it could be said that Trump in the election he won used "Foreign Election Interference" to win, which means technically he shouldn't be allowed to run now.

Further to that there is also the question of whether Cambridge Analytica's assets were seized or destroyed, considering the nature of the Algorithms used required using a Social Network to manipulate the masses. Funnily enough Trump started his own "Truth Network" which makes me at least question whether there is Cambridge Analytica intellectual property being used within the social network itself.

One last thing, what normal person needs a "Fixer"? Fixers are only really used by those that do something criminal requiring a fix, so wouldn't a fixer prove Trump guilty of something?

You must of missed that Steve Bannon was a former vice president to that company, and he originally was "Chief Strategist" for Trump which would make that conflict of interest.

I'd say any foreign national interfering in an election should (where possible) be detained [at least] until the election is over. Other charges may follow but get them out of the game.

Bannon's stake in Cambridge Analytica was estimated at $1–5 million, but he sold his stake in the company once he joined the Trump administration in April 2017.
