Another reason for Trump not going rogue in January is that he could still be a thorn in Biden's side over the next four years, outside of office. Because he can rally his supporters in the streets against the Establishment. Whether that sways anything with regard to this or that issue remains to be seen. ..... Always helpful to bear in mind that roughly half of all Americans are of below average intelligence.

If your expectation is that America is an educated country, this is a reasonable thing to be shocked about - as long as the average was calculated based on a world-wide average.

Firstly, education != intelligence.

Secondly, if 'average' means 'mean', then the fact stated is not tautological - it tells you that the median is the same as the mean, and thus that the distribution is not skewed, which might be quite surprising. One might expect that the mean would be above the median, as the cleverest people tend to be very, very clever, whilst the stupidest people are merely very stupid (the Brassiere Curve and all that).

Say what you will about Americans, but I have on occasion had to explain that nearly half of all Canadians have below-average intelligence. It's "nearly" and not "exactly" because, unlike astonishingly clever Canadians, astonishingly stupid Canadians die young and are under-represented in the population. Doesn't that raise the average smarts each time it happens? A bit like the way that each time a Canadian migrates to America, the average intelligence of both countries goes up?  Big Grin  Wink

Trump thrives most on attention, as is the case for every megalomaniacal narcissist. I don't think he liked being President itself so much as just being in the spotlight, as in on Twitter or TV. He probably felt most alive doing rallies when he could directly feed off the crowd's cheering and applause and laughter like a true populist demagogue. After he leaves the White House he will probably cash in on interviews and lectures and perhaps even a media network devoted to rightwing ideas. Such is the fate of most ex-political culture war icons.

That's the drawback. Even as a post-POTUS, he's got all that influence on 73 to 100 million people, but may piddle it away like a rock-star from his own era. Savoring the applause ensuing from promoting himself rather than also orchestrating public outcry to obstruct whatever _X_ agenda of policy-makers.

I wouldn't be surprised if at some point he and Biden are caught sitting together at a concert or sports event, shooting the bull like a couple of Pro-Wrestling foes who are off-duty from the kayfabe.

Don't really expect such, but my jaw wouldn't be touching the floor along with the dumbfounded. It's not like Trump wasn't an opportunist in the past when it came to straddling both parties, before finally settling on one (after 2011) for his political career. He had some Donk buddies in administrative slots (given the NYC and Northeast locale, surely more than Phants).

No, it usually happens, to some extent. But the vast majority of it is done by Democrats, so recounts of fraudulent votes for Hillary wouldn't have helped her. And she knew that.

Yeah, if Biden won, why all this "it was a perfect election" and zero interest from Democrats to even look into the allegations. One reason, they know what investigations will show. Even if not enough fraud for a Trump win, it will show widespread attempts but Democrats to cheat the election. Biden would enter office under a huge cloud.

This from the nutjob who insists witness statements are plenty evidence for UFOs, ghosts, etc.. IOW, hypocrite.

Potential fraudulent behavior isn't evidence.
At the very least, it's cause to open an investigation. And remember, you're the one who claims witness statements, alone, are not only reason to investigate but, themselves, evidence. If these poll worker statements are not evidence then neither are your UFO/ghost witness statements.

Lying headline saying "protesters clash" omits the fact that all violence was instigated by leftists, as usual.

Wow! Let the word ring forth from this time and this place, gentlemen. You call an American—any American stupid, we don’t come back with a proportional response.

We come back with total disaster!  Big Grin

That depends on the situation. I've seen first-hand numerous times just how stupid many intellectuals{*} are when caught in everyday situations (especially when something needs to be fixed or done right or immediate reality needs to be acknowledged). Survival-wise, I'd literally rather be with the "dumb hicks" and "religious farmers" in flyover country when SHTF than with certain minions of the educated idiots class.

To borrow from the philosophy of Gary Busey's character in the film clip below from D.C. Cab (but pertaining to a different or more general/diverse population group), that's why I try to stay in good with the aforementioned, above.  Wink
