I don't dread my job...I have a great job. Just don't like Mondays.

If I had a job that I didn't really care for, I loved the weekends and packed them full of whatever really interested me at the moment. Going back to work on Monday was a big change. I'd get used to it as the week progressed. When I had a job that I particularly liked, I still enjoyed the weekends but by Sunday night I was kind of ready to go back to see my work mates. By Wednesday, I was still beginning to look forward to the weekend. Maybe you don't "dread" your job but have you had jobs that you liked better or can you envision a work environment that you might like better? The job itself is pretty awesome. I have a lot of creative freedoms, and can even work from home two days per week. But, there has been a lot of turnover in terms of upper mgmt staff being fired. My current boss is hot and cold...but in fairness, he likely is fearful of losing his job. I think it's that tension that exists because of the turn over, that has people on edge. So, the job is great, but if I could do the exact same job elsewhere, I'd probably feel better.
Time for a riddle, let's see if you get this...
In a lake, there is a patch of lily pads. Every day, the patch doubles in size. If it takes 48 days for the patch to cover the entire lake, how long would it take for the patch to cover half the lake?
