'Mail order' is what fossils like me call selecting a thing from a catalogue and asking for it to be delivered (for a price).

Yet, buying a ring and buying a person are a little different so one doesn't usually make one think of the other.

I didn't feel well today, so I didn't go to work. Sometimes, when I'm not feeling well, I write in a journal. My thoughts tend to be different when not feeling well, than when I'm feeling fine. I become more contemplative, and jot down all kinds of random thoughts about life. Feeling better now, just had a bad headache and sore throat, but seems to be clearing up. Green tea with lemon is perfect for days like these. I wonder if I'll read my journal a few days from now, and it just won't make any sense.

Thinking about Halloween, already. September is right around the corner...and it seems like a mere stepping stone for October. I'm planning on checking out some local haunts this year, just to say I did it.

I will admit, I don’t find what you post to be offensive but I guess it has to do with you posting videos of ghost activity as “evidence.” Hmm.

I will admit, I don’t find what you post to be offensive but I guess it has to do with you posting videos of ghost activity as “evidence.” Hmm.

The excuse James uses to ban me with is that I don't provide commentary and analysis of the videos I post. It's just something he made up within the last year because he doesn't like evidence. It doesn't bother me. I'll post whatever I find and take the points. It's worth it to get the truth out.

Should be grateful for the one day ban. One less day that you have to defend your evidence. Not as casual over there as it is here. It’s the one thing people forget about this place, there are no repercussions for posting stuff without comment or even if the commentary is questionable, scientific or not. So as a member, one must take this into account. There’s a certain pointlessness to arguing here even when the arguments, pro/con, real/imagined or false/true are more of the same casualness. But it’s fun nonetheless. Personally I don’t mind the different facets of population, things, viewpoints or whatever comes along. Arguing however, isn’t worth the investment of a lot of time IMHO. Make your point and move on and so what if it gets personal. I think this is what casual internet is, sitting around the campfire stuff.

i use to do an awful lot of internet searching for such things.
some of the things i found were quite astounding
not that i would be able to tell the difference between real hoaxers and anything that might be real.

church goers tend to have a dim view of such things and seek to discredit as much as possible about any form of life outside the godly image.
given the massive amount of evangelical Christianity in the usa mixed in with conservative baptist type stuff. its a little funny how soo many Americans report in surveys that they think aliens are a possibility.
maybe they are thinking of south Americans

lol Yea, the problem is...I'm not sure any eye witness videos will be proof enough for some of the skeptics. Once a skeptic, always a skeptic? 

True, Z. I think healthy debate is helpful to learn other views that differ from our own, but with some, the desire to 'win' is paramount, not really the desire to just discuss and have a reciprocal conversation. It isn't worth the effort anymore...
