INTRO: Kristen Clarke, President Joe Biden’s nominee to lead the Justice Department’s civil rights division, called for a hate crime investigation into the burning of a black church in Mississippi that turned out to have been set by one of its parishioners. [...] More than six weeks after the incident, investigators charged Andrew McClinton, a member of the church, with setting the fire.

He pleaded guilty to arson March 28, 2019, and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Prosecutors said that McClinton set the fire to cover up “illicit” activities he was involved in, the Associated Press reported. The incident is not the first hate crime hoax to have fooled Clarke... (MORE)

Is the work generated by large influxes of migrants part of the Biden stimulus package? Judging by Joe’s reaction to the sudden flood, I figure it isn’t. Not like building a wall or any other construction project. Tough to say no to children however.

Typical hypocrisy. Biden says "don't come", but all of his policies explicitly incentivize them to keep coming. At the border, you can either actually be smart or appear to be humanitarian, and those are mutually exclusive.
