I've been using a pour over coffee pot with an old fashioned kettle (super long spout) to make pouring water a breeze. I highly recommend for a perfect cup of coffee every time, and I like using a steel filter, which is cleaned after every use. I didn't buy this specific brand, but any brand will be fine. This is a helpful video to learn the proper techniques, like ''wetting the bed.''

I highly suggest buying a kettle with an electric burner that raises the temperature of the water to roughly 210 degrees. It's remarkable that this has made such a difference in the quality of my coffee now. Before, I was boiling the water in a kettle on the stove (walking away, forgetting about it) and it would scorch the coffee, leaving the taste bland and/or sour. |
