Trump's delusional state of mind

If people think Trump is in denial, why don’t they feel that way about Biden as it relates to his son, Hunter? How can those who voted for Biden consider him a refreshing change when he seems to have his own closet of skeletons?

They hated him. Oh yes, they (and not just the media) HATED him with a sort of irrational psychopathic passion that I've never seen before in my entire life.

The kind of hate-filled divisiveness and intolerance of disagreement that we currently see in American social life frankly scares me.

The real question is why?

What is happening to us?? (It isn't just the US, we see similar things in Europe too.) I fear for the future of American democracy, our fundamental liberties and for the future of Western Civilization itself.

Divide and conquer perhaps, especially when you look at all the authoritarianism in the name of Covid throughout the Western world.

And the facile rightwing conspiracy theory exposes itself yet again.

The Hunter Biden fiasco never gained any traction after its sources were found to be unreliable. Trump otoh blatantly denies losing the election without any evidence. His delusional denialism is obvious to everyone.

I would look to ancient civilisations to get a better understanding of what is happening. For instance what happened to Egypt, Greece, Italy, Persia, the Monguls, Mayans etc.

In each situation a civilisation rose and was prominent for a duration before it suffered a decay. In the instances of Greece and Italy (Rome) both yurned for some democratic appareciation however both were felled but corruption/rumours of corruption and the attempts to weather the most political storms with the promises of more reform and freedoms. The more rights granted to people the more the culture/civilisation fell apart, since granting everything and delivering nothing is the worst form of political corruption.

This is where'd you get a political protagonist warning you of "Anarchy", since it's the boogey man under the bed when it comes to politics.

Most of the problem is that Civilisations develop systems to rule over an elitist few which is then pushed on everyone else and suggested as being done to be fair, when in reality it's not fair and most of the time it actually leads to corruption. The larger a civilisation grows, so to does the discordia.

So the only real option is to keep to smaller "clusters" of society rather than just being a sheep bleeting along in someones flock.
Small systems of order will be more sustainable than a super amalgumative clusterf**k of a democracy.

I am pleased you can still view 'evidence' as relating to reality in some shape or form. Delusions (the subject of this thread) are identified by the fact that the victim continues to believe something is real despite any and all evidence to the contrary.

There is zero question, to any sane and informed person, that the left has formented all the division, as you can blatantly see in their protests, riots, looting, etc.. And courts have already ruled that many leftist Covid measures are unconstitutional...not to mention by their very nature authoritarian. No conspiracy needed for either, but then, you're just projecting your own conspiratorial thinking...which fuels the aforementioned division.

No, a concerted social media campaign to quash a story is not it failing to get traction. And it's that lack of traction that allows legacy media to brush it off without any real critique of sources at all...much less showing them to be unreliable. And there's a whole thread of election fraud evidence leftists like you patently refuse to look at.

You claiming things are "obvious to everyone" only shows how entrenched you are in your bubble. You actually think your little bubble entails "everyone".

Exactly what the left has done for decades. They've continually invented new "rights" (positive rights rather than the negative rights of the constitution) and promised plenty of minorities and special interests things they've never delivered on.

Well, there's actually been some measure of anarchy, and it's not a boogeyman of one side, it's the weapon of the other. They are literally demanding the dismantling of institutions, in favor of more power for their side.

I've never failed to view the evidence. And unlike you, I don't misapprehend the evidence to appease my confirmation bias.

But then, you're a real POS:

This is the delusional Trump thread.
My guess is that Trump saw at least a million followers in front of him. At his request they would take over the seat of government and the adoring crowd would declare him to be President for Life (like Putin in Russia). A while back I thought it was too late for him to try anything really stupid - just how wrong can you be.

There wasn't enough Viking hats to go around so people shied away.

The whole past year going into this one seems like either a surreal Monty Python skit or a poorly written venture into comedic absurdity. It's almost dreamlike, like some slumbering East Asian deity is about to wake up and all the normal regularities and stable logic of the world have been slowly crumbling as the world incrementally fades away. I don't expect this psilocybin trip to end with the exorcism of Trump. Something... something... events even more unsettling than a singing, chartreuse giraffe floating by the window are lurking ahead...
