Understanding the Irish Republican Socialist Party

I don't think that the far left is gaining much ground, considering that the Democrats still haven't found ''the one,'' out of all the various choices we've seen this year. So the far left's ideas don't seem to be resonating with the ''majority.'' If they were, ''the one'' would have risen to the top by now. Biden isn't the one, he's sort of a default position, a leftover from the establishment. I think they were hoping for, well...more.

As far as I go...I don't consider myself either a Republican or Democrat, yet I cherry pick what I like from either ''side.'' I don't get hung up on labels, but that's just me. *shrug*

We're still almost three months out from the first primary election, so it's premature to be expecting them to have already found "the one". The far left's ideas are the one echoed by the majority of the candidates. If nothing else, that means their political strategists sure think the far left is worth the time.

That said, there is a difference between political strategy and reality. The far left are the most motivated to actually turn out to vote for Democrats, and they seem to think that's worth pandering to, even at the cost of the "majority". Or...the Democrat candidates simply don't know the reality. And either way, Biden is the only hope of swinging independent voters in the general election.

You cherry pick mostly from one side, which makes you a left-leaning independent, at best.
