Like I said, you, as an Aussie, have a feel for the people. And since I already pointed out the left and right affinity for big government and top-down solutions in Oz, the relative nearness of the two isn't all that surprising. What is surprising is that you couldn't just say so, without all the unneeded play at educating others on things they're well-aware of. But hey, whatever affirmations you need, mate.
