Proof Aliens are Assisting Elon Musk

It's one of BCG's super-detailed photographs from NSF.

Check out the guy in the hardhat on the lift in the lower right. He has a transparent head!

WTF are these things that look like pieces of metal from a local scrapyard put together?

Do you mean the lower left?

Super-detailed or not, I didn't make out the missing head (or the illusion of one?) on the tiny screen I first saw it on. Here's a click attachment below with all the circle/arrow stuff if something's gone haywire with the zoom on anyone's device. (EDIT: If you're looking at this weeks or months from now, the attachment might be gone due to freeing up space on the forum's attachment storage limits.)

Given that he said a transparent head, I assumed that he was referring to the reflection of the man on the left.

Oh, I see. Maybe there’s only one guy with two reflections, but if it’s a reflection, and not photoshopped, where’s it coming from?

It looks like they just photoshopped out his face. Maybe to protect his privacy?

Keen eyesight. I wouldn't have noticed that, period. [EDIT (clarification): The vague appearance of a double-reflection tophat beyond the visible reflection, which may not be caused by him]. All that I could do just to make out what was supposed to be happening on the right using that "rinky-dink toy hybrid thing must be foreign don't even know what they call it but at least I can get online with it" I got left with while waiting for the Brady Bunch to get back from their Wild Bunch meeting. (Can't use the real nicknames they have for them there in the downstairs department.)

Oh yeah, finally blown up the "mystery" is revealed. Done that a million times, erase something and patch it with the cloning tool. Good explanation, too (privacy/identity protection). EDIT: Take that back. Looks like they instead just layered a circular CC&P on the top of his face.

I certainly hope it's an illusion of one. Otherwise, hire the disabled has gone to a whole new extreme.

I'm inclined to agree with SS. The detailed view seems to show a circular blurred-out area over this guy's head.

MR hasn't said anything. Obviously a ghost. I guess that even ghosts have to wear hard-hats on the job site.

Lots of SpaceX (and NASA, and...) people post over on Nasaspaceflight and provide plenty of inside information, and the board's management probably doesn't want to anger them. Same with BCG, they allow her to prowl around and take her photos, so she needs to stay on their good side.

I'd probably be too reflexively dumb to think of that before posting an image, but SpaceX probably indeed alerted or scolded all the applicable "photographers" months ago about it.

No news is...

EDIT (addition): OTOH, perhaps it really is a bit of prank. If identity protection was solely the incentive, a quick true blur or smudging of his face would suffice. No reason to even trouble to search for or create a pasted spot that sloppily resembles what would have been behind his face.

BCG just posted several more photos, these of plumbing (hoses and pipes) running into the Watertower, and another of a large black cryptic piece of gear just constructed in the last couple of days with what appear to be lenses on it, pointed at the Watertower.

The thing I noticed was that there are two workers in hard hats in the photos, and both of them have their faces blurred out. (Not as dramatically as the headless guy, but still rendered unrecognizable.) So it looks like it's a new thing, a request/demand that SpaceX may have issued for some unknown reason. But if continued photographic access depends on it, then...
