It absolutely is embarrassing. Tons of states need to learn the lessons Florida did in 2000. Congress and the Supreme Court needs to uphold strict requirements and cutoffs to mail-in voting.

In what way does she mean? I’ve heard from a coworker who lives in Canada, that we should know who the President will be by now. But in defense of mail in ballots, the system was overrun with mail in ballots due to Covid. Pre-Covid, most people voted in person.

Trump’s aides feel that a recount in certain states won’t make a difference due to Biden’s lead. I think that Biden could end up with 306 electoral votes - it’s not like he’s close in just a state or two.

You're saying mail-in was the Covid contingency plan? My wife is saying that the election doesn't appear to be thought through. That would include Covid, mail-in and counting plus the biggest threat....Donald's lawsuits, could they have been avoided? 

Are people on the west coast aware of how people voted on the east coast before western polls close? I would think it next to impossible to not know. Why isn't Trump all over that also?

Since the Establishment can't agree with anything Trump is either advocating or criticizing, that automatically ruled-out expressing concerns for such or evaluating and improving the process. Even if it privately realized there would be problems. Propaganda going quite the opposite direction was warranted weeks and months beforehand (do this, do that, everything will be fine).

Just because some media outlets call the race doesn't mean it's over. Not until the electoral college votes on Dec 14th.

And Trump still has time left in his term to appoint more judges. You know, those lifetime appointments that will affect US law for decades, without a single thing Dems can do about it. Without the Senate, senile Joe won't even be able to get any appointments confirmed.

I'm guessing its at the point where even if every uncounted vote were for Trump he would still lose.
