Now why would you guys make and agree to a humorous yet possible hurtful gender based comment? Going to have to look at the rule book for this one.  Technical foul? The game continues, no holds barred? The correct play was to just say you're done and stand by it. 

As referee I look the other way, sometimes the best call is no call. Trouble is the opponent may now feel free (freer) to do the same. No need for a rule IMO, its just gamesmanship.

I’m going to check out some historical landmarks today - one being a light house. I’m intrigued by light houses, lately. Need to make it before the rain although watching the ocean get stirred up from a storm near a lighthouse might be exciting.

Yes, a few on the East coast.  They are generally pretty boring inside - a big tube with a staircase and some conduit.

And now, you’re masquerading on sci forums under the username “Vociferous,” with the same antics. You are a smart guy, but you choose to create discord, constantly one up, and smear members in various topics, for reasons only you know. You could choose to have rational, reasonable discourse but you don’t. You started claiming I’m emotional as soon as I posted something about Chauvin in this thread and nothing I’ve posted could have given that impression. Because you believe Chauvin is innocent, doesn’t mean everyone agrees. You insulted my gender and on and on it goes. You make up a story about MR’s mom and then expect him to respond? You are a lousy example of a Christian. If you believe that you're a work in progress, actually work on yourself. Otherwise it's just an ongoing excuse to justify your bad behavior and never lift a finger to examine or improve yourself. If you really believe I've misquoted you, show us where. Otherwise this is just you playing victim to justify the insults you initiated. I've already proven that you insulted me before any of the things you complained about me saying.

I never lied about your opinions, I just disagreed with them. Those aren't the same thing. Quit playing mental gymnastics to justify your own shitty behavior. You know, it would be one thing if you cited an insult before you were insulted, but citing an insult after you insulted someone doesn't justify you insulting them first. That you would even try that bullshit demonstrates that you're emotional and getting things turned around in your head.

Vociferous on sci forums? Seems that guy's been there for 3 years. I'm still a member over there, unlike SS, who was banned. I don't really care what boogeymen you, or anyone else, imagine are running around on other forums.

You refuse to have rational, reasonable discourse, as demonstrated by you insulting me first. You like to pretend that your ignorant opinions and appeals to authority are equal to those of people who've actually researched the topic, even when you've already admitted to not knowing all the facts. That's a level of arrogance that flies in the face of reality. Sure, you pretend to be humble, but when you resort to insults to defend opinions you cannot otherwise justify, that proves it's only a pretense. A Christian in appearance/name only.

If you hold opinions you cannot justify with facts and you insult people when they challenge those opinions, you are clearly emotional. Even if you weren't aware of it at the time, it's quite clear now. You watched the Floyd video and had an emotional reaction that obviously colored your opinion. Everyone had an emotional reaction to watching that. I thought Chauvin did something wrong when I initially saw it. But unlike many others, I was able to change my opinion in light of new evidence. The fact that you won't admit it plays any role in your opinion shows that you are not being honest with yourself. Don't blame me for you lying to yourself.

I didn't make up anything about MR's mom. Go reread it for yourself. I asked a question, and he wouldn't answer it. That's all that happened...well, after he tried to insult me from out of nowhere. See, even now you are excusing MR's insults, because they come from the same motives as your own. Like you, he insulted me first. You're reinforcing your mutual bad behavior.

Again, I said it was pointless to argue with a women (which you are proving here, BTW) after you said I got my opinion from Shapiro and was pretending to be the smartest. If you don't think those are insults, you need to examine your own motive for doing so and ask God to show you the error of your ways. You know, real humility.

And true to form for anyone who cannot effectively argue their own opinions and are too thin-skinned for any criticism, when you don't like something, you want it censored or banned, e.g. "wonder why you're tolerated here". What a piece of garbage.

How awesome! I’m intrigued by them, lately. The ones that have history not the sheer aesthetic ones that seem too modern, for lack of a better word. Sounds like a great day.
