I'm not exactly pro-Trump but this 11.5 minute defence convinced me that Trump did not intend and did not in fact incite a riot.
Probably not what you would expect from me but it seems Trump comes out as a better and more honest man than his accusers.

How can any Dem who votes for impeachment be trusted from here on in? As corrupt an individual as you can have in govt. And there are four more years ahead. Oh, you’ll see them in church Sunday, like nothing happened.

Congratulations for even watching. I doubt MR will have the nerve to.

But beware. That's how it starts for many leftists who end up walking away from the left. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

Democrats initially agreed to call no witnesses in the impeachment. But on the last day, they change their mind, knowing they are losing badly.

After trying to vote on calling witnesess, they finally decided to hold the final vote.

Trump has been acquitted a second time.

Impeachment is over, but might as well chronicle more Democrat hypocrisy:

Heard 10 Republicans voted to impeach. What’s with that? Going forward, I wouldn’t trust those guys either.

RINO pieces of crap who either regularly criticize their own party to gain the attention of the press or are in swing/purple states and are much more interested in fence-sitting to get reelected than doing the right thing.

Poll: Democrats Are More Concerned About Trump Supporters Than White Supremacy, Systemic Racism

Democrats are more concerned about former President Donald Trump’s supporters than they are about white nationalism or systemic racism.

According to a new poll from Echelon Insights, 82% of Democrats said that Trump’s supporters were their chief concern. The same poll indicated that 79% of Democrats viewed white nationalism as a major issue, and 77% were worried about systemic racism. Gun violence (76%) and Americans lacking health insurance (75%) rounded out the top five issues.

The same poll found that Republicans were most concerned about illegal immigration (81%) and a lack of support for law enforcement (79%). The top five issues also included high taxes (77%), bias in media (75%) and the general moral decline of the country as a whole (74%).

IOW, Democrats' biggest concern is Republicans, even over their exaggerated notion of widespread white nationalism and boogeyman of systemic racism. They are clearly, by their own admission, the party of division in this country.

While Republicans are concerned with teh same kinds of stuff they've always been concerned with, which target policies and culture over any specific individuals or groups.

I'll put this here because, let's face it, the NYT are Democrats and regularly carry their water and lies.

Inside a Battle Over Race, Class and Power at Smith College
A student said she was racially profiled while eating in a college dorm. An investigation found no evidence of bias. But the incident will not fade away.

In midsummer of 2018, Oumou Kanoute, a Black student at Smith College, recounted a distressing American tale: She was eating lunch in a dorm lounge when a janitor and a campus police officer walked over and asked her what she was doing there.

The officer, who could have been carrying a “lethal weapon,” left her near “meltdown,” Ms. Kanoute wrote on Facebook, saying that this encounter continued a yearlong pattern of harassment at Smith.

“All I did was be Black,” Ms. Kanoute wrote. “It’s outrageous that some people question my being at Smith College, and my existence overall as a woman of color.”
...
The New York Times, The Washington Post and CNN picked up the story of a young female student harassed by white workers. The American Civil Liberties Union, which took the student’s case, said she was profiled for “eating while Black.”

Less attention was paid three months later when a law firm hired by Smith College to investigate the episode found no persuasive evidence of bias. Ms. Kanoute was determined to have eaten in a deserted dorm that had been closed for the summer; the janitor had been encouraged to notify security if he saw unauthorized people there. The officer, like all campus police, was unarmed.
...
The story highlights the tensions between a student’s deeply felt sense of personal truth and facts that are at odds with it.

So this bitch lied, got an innocent janitor suspended, a cafeteria worker had a stress-related episode with her Lupus, and all white employees had to deal with bullshit anti-bias training and discriminatory propaganda of structural racism.

And instead of the NYT saying this student lied, which she clearly did, it says "The story highlights the tensions between a student’s deeply felt sense of personal truth and facts that are at odds with it." Really? Would they also say that QAnon only "highlights the tensions between" their "deeply felt sense of personal truth" and "facts that are at odds with it"? No, because they're partisan pieces of shit who no longer have any idea what actual journalism looks like.
